Schlupp’s Leicester go level on points with league leaders
Ghanaian defender Jeffrey Schlupp and his Leicester City side went level on points with English Premier League leaders Manchester City on Saturday after their fixture against Watford.
Schlupp was given a start in the game against Watford but was replace after the interval with Shinji Okazaki taking his position at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester City won the home game by two goals to one to take their points tally to 25 [level on points with first placed Manchester City and second placed Arsenal] which puts them third on the Premier League log only on goal different.
Ngolo Kante scored the first goal of the game for Leicester City after a goalless first half. Jamie Vardy doubled the home side’s lead from the penalty spot before Watford pulled on back via a penalty to end the game at 2-1 in Leicester’s favour.
